This is the start of something new. I can’t believe I just paid almost $60 to start a simple blog and talk about who knows what. Well if you didn’t read my about me, I’m a programmer, I like video games, movies, I’m trying to read books, and I’m in college right now.
As I’m writing this, actually, today is my first day of college. I’m taking it online, so I’m just taking my time for now. Trying to get used to blogging on here first. I’m worried that my pages will still look janky with this theme because I just made this blog last night before passing out. I was told to choose a theme before starting anything, but I chose one, didn’t like the way it was formatted on phones, so I switched to this theme. It kinda matches the aesthetic that I like, but if I really knew web dev, I would make a blogging site from scratch.
This is just a placeholder website for now I guess. A very expensive placeholder, but I rather have a paperweight that looks nice rather than a dirty rock from outside. This works nice for now, especially since I can blog from anywhere I want, including my phone, so I can treat this like my personal twitter if I wanted to.
(I don’t. I really hate twitter, and I don’t plan to have an account on there unless I needed to use grok as an excuse to avoid something.)
That’s all I really wanted to write. Thank you for reading.
Sudden thought: Since I’m taking college online, would a rowdy online meetup in a video game be considered a virtual frat party? Only time will tell. Would be nice though. I would love to see everyone’s shitty looking avatars that look like this.
